Labai Persada Tambang (LPT)

Project Overview

Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan

The Labai Persada Tambang (LPT) project is located in Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan, and covers an operational production licence area of approximately 13,770 hectares.

LPT is an advanced-stage bauxite project with historical production, established infrastructure, and extensive recent validation work completed by both the vendor and Aluminium Industries.

Resource scale and quality

The project hosts an estimated:

  • ~200 million tonnes of unwashed bauxite

Bauxite grades are consistently high, typically ranging between:

  • 46–52% Al₂O₃
  • Low silica (SiO₂ ~6–9%)
  • Iron content generally below 20%

Recent internal sampling conducted in 2025 returned peak assays exceeding 51% Al₂O₃, confirming the quality and consistency of mineralisation.

Validation and due diligence

LPT has been subject to extensive historical exploration and recent independent verification. Aluminium Industries completed multiple test pits and resampling programs, which demonstrated strong correlation with historical results.

Independent laboratory testing, including Sucofindo analyses, has validated grades and confirmed recovery assumptions, providing a high level of confidence in the existing resource estimates.

Infrastructure and logistics

LPT benefits from well-developed infrastructure:

  • Existing wash plant with capacity of approximately 60,000 tonnes per month
  • Significant bauxite stockpiles, including material already washed and ready for sale
  • Approximately 53 km haul road linking mine, stockpile, and port facilities
  • Licensed jetty on the Kapuas River with barge access

While some maintenance is required, the presence of this infrastructure enables a relatively fast restart pathway compared to greenfield developments.

m

Development status and opportunity

LPT provides Aluminium Industries with:

  • Potential near-term production and cash flow
  • Exposure to export bauxite pricing
  • Optionality to supply domestic smelters

The project is well positioned to benefit from favourable bauxite market conditions once permitting milestones are achieved.
